FIDC was designed to create capable, performance-driven shooters first. Through the application of practical shooting principles and target analysis, instructors will develop a deeper understanding of how to apply these concepts to their own shooting—so they can take this knowledge back and apply it to the students at their agency. Equipment selection and set up
Shooting Fundamentals with specific emphasis on grip, vision, and trigger
Draw stroke and presentation from duty holsters
Predictive and Reactive shooting and how they apply to Law Enforcement
Shot placement and accountability
Sight confirmation levels and shot calling
Target transitions and visual processing
Strong hand only shooting
Introduction to movement

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Semi-automatic pistol
3-4 magazines with a minimum capacity of 10 rounds
Kydex holster that fully covers the trigger guard
A sturdy gun belt
Minimum of 2 magazine carriers
500 rounds of ammunition
Ear protection (electronic preferred)
Eye protection
